Tynan is a sophomore at the University of Pittsburgh, pursuing a major in Neuroscience and minors in Chemistry and Business. Outside of his studies, he spends his time as a member of the Pitt Men's Club Lacrosse Team. Tynan joined the Rossi Lab in January 2024 and is currently researching age-related macular degeneration. With aspirations to attend medical school, he is particularly interested in specializing in ophthalmology.
