Rui joined the lab in September 2019 as a visiting scholar. She is a medical student at Xiangya School of Medicine, Central South University, China. Her major is clinical medicine and has been rewarded the Bachelor’s degree of Medicine in June 2019. She is currently pursuing her M.D. degree in China, and will be spending the next two years as a visiting scholar here at Dr.Rossi’s Lab to perform medical research. Rui’s major research interest is the characterization of Glaucomatous retina changes and hopes to use advanced imaging techniques to visualize them.
